摘要

Enterprise product design managers must consider various factors in decision-making, including design, manufacturing, marketing, product lifecycle, and sustainability. These factors are interconnected, with changes in one area significantly impacting others. Incorrect decisions can severely hinder product design innovation and development. This study aims to construct a real-time model called the Circular Design Dynamic Decision model (CD3) to reflect the influence between circular design strategy factors and assist companies in making informed decisions. The research collected 29 factors and 83 causal relationships of product circular design strategies through literature analysis and expert interviews. Using a system dynamics approach, the CD3 model was developed. To validate the CD3 model, a case study was conducted, projecting market conditions until 2035 and evaluating yearly changes in product circular design innovation decision-making. The results demonstrate that the CD3 model can identify key factors for achieving decision-making goals, improving design managers’ efficiency and providing specific suggestions for enterprise product cycle design and development. The CD3 model serves as a valuable tool for enterprise product design managers, offering insights into the complex interplay of factors affecting circular design strategies and supporting more effective decision-making in product innovation and development.
