Virtual education, through Virtual Learning Environments (VLE), has gained significant relevance in recent years, establishing itself as a key tool for ensuring academic continuity in complex scenarios. In the contemporary contex, these VLEs have become an essential component of the educational process, providing tools and resources that transform the traditional dynamics of teaching and learning. Graduate students’ perceptions of their use are fundamental to understanding how these environments can enhance educational experience, as well as identifying the elements that facilitate or hinder their effectiveness in academic training. The primary objective of this research was to analyze how graduate students perceive the functionality of virtual platforms, the quality of didactic resources, and faculty support within a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). The methodology employed followed a quantitative approach with a descriptive and cross-sectional design. A structured questionnaire was applied to 74 graduate students, covering key dimensions such as platform navigation, interaction with instructors, educational resources, and the course’s contribution to professional development. Data was analyzed using frequencies and percentages, complemented by representative graphs. The outcomes indicate that, although 56.8% of students believe that virtual courses contribute to their professional development, significant challenges remain regarding the role of instructors, the quality of didactic resources, and the clarity of instructions. These findings highlight the need to strengthen pedagogical strategies in virtual environments to ensure meaningful and effective learning.
