Enhancing Learning Style Transformation Through the Design and Application of Subject-Based Classrooms

This case is based on the practice of subject classrooms in Zhejiang Province, which conducts theoretical and practical innovation research on teaching space in the information age. Based on the requirements of curriculum reform for cultivating students’ core competencies, this case proposes the concept and connotation of subject classrooms and constructs a “six-in-one” design paradigm from the dual perspectives of construction and application, describing the application methods of subject classrooms to promote the reconstruction of teaching ecology. The case design embodies the principles of “problem orientation, innovative thinking, social responsibility, and sustainable development,” providing a comprehensive solution for implementing new curriculum concepts and plans, transforming classroom teaching and student learning methods, and cultivating students’ core competitiveness.
