Developing Health Education Resources for Tibetan Farmers’ and Herdsmen’s Children Using Digital Technology Applications

This study endeavors to probe into the practice of developing health education resources by leveraging digital technology for Tibetan herdsmen and farmers’ children in the realm of infectious disease prevention and control. Through in-depth analysis of the educational background and health needs of Tibetan farmers and herders’ children, this study develops a comprehensive set of health education resources—“Goodbye, Little Monsters of Infectious Diseases” based on the practice of digital technology application. The research content mainly includes designing promotional illustrated text and creative products, producing audio illustrated books, carrying out online cloud health courses and offline fun courses, as well as developing a knowledge testing system for infectious diseases to help children of farmers and herders self-test their learning effects. Through the development and application of this set of resources, this study expects to effectively enhance the knowledge of Tibetan children of farmers and herders about infectious diseases and strengthen their self-protection ability, thus reducing the incidence of infectious diseases in the region and contributing to the healthy growth of Tibetan children of farmers and herders.
