Safety and Quality Evaluation of Ophiopogon japonicus
摘要
This study established a novel HPLC-MS/MS method for simultaneous qualitative and quantitative analysis of 20 saponins and flavonoids in Ophiopogon japonicus. Through field experiments, tuber samples from Ophiopogon japonicus plants treated with different concentrations of paclobutrazol were systematically harvested to evaluate the compound’s concentration-dependent effects on both crop yield and bioactive compound accumulation. Subsequent metabolomic analysis conducted 48 h post-application revealed significant alterations in secondary metabolite profiles during plant growth. These findings provide foundational insights into the regulatory mechanisms of paclobutrazol on saponin and flavonoid biosynthesis in Ophiopogon japonicus, offering valuable implications for quality optimization in commercial cultivation practices.
