A Review of New Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis Techniques Application in the Chemical Components Determination of Codonopsis pilosula
摘要
In recent years, new techniques such as high-resolution mass spectrometry, multidimensional chromatography, ion mobility mass spectrometry, and high-throughput targeted quantification have been rapidly developed, which have significantly boosted the depth and breadth of the research on the chemical constituents of Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng (Codonopsis pilosula, DangShen, 党参). These techniques have greatly improved the sensitivity and accuracy of qualitative analysis and realized more comprehensive identification of active ingredients such as saponins, polysaccharides and polyynes, etc. Meanwhile, they have demonstrated high selectivity, high efficiency and multi-component simultaneous analysis in quantitative analysis, which provide key technical support for the precise control of the quality of ginseng herbs, the elucidation of the basis of the medicinal substances and the development of products.
