Extraction, Analysis, and Identification Methods of Active Components from Rhizoma polygonati, Polygonatum notoginseng, and Portulaca oleracea
摘要
The extraction of active ingredients from medicinal plants such as Rhizoma polygonati (also known as Polygonatum sibiricum, Huangjing, 黄精), Polygonatum notoginseng (三七, Sanqi), and Portulaca oleracea (also known as purslane, Machixian, 马齿苋) is a critical step in the development of natural health products. These plants are rich in bioactive compounds, including polysaccharides, which have been shown to possess various pharmacological properties such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulatory effects. Below, we discuss the different methods used for the extraction of polysaccharide active ingredients from these plants.
