摘要

This article explores the angaśraya system (vassals) of the Majapahit kingdom in Sulawesi, as recorded in the Nägarakrtägama, focusing on its geopolitical, economic, and cultural dimensions. It examines the relationship between Majapahit and regions such as Luwu, Bantaeng, Selayar, Buton, and Banggai, using archaeological evidence, historical texts, and oral traditions. The findings reveal that Majapahit facilitated Sulawesi’s integration into a broader maritime network, ensuring commodity protection, securing strategic maritime corridors, and fostering regional commercial exchanges. This study highlights the enduring cultural and historical impact of Majapahit’s angaśraya system in shaping Sulawesi’s development and identity within the Nusantara framework.
