Promising Methods for Ensuring Sustainable Construction: A Review
摘要
A significant number of publications are devoted to the sustainable construction development, the first of which dates back to 1974. At the same time, the active development of science and technology and environmental awareness has made it possible to increase the effectiveness of existing and propose new approaches to ensure sustainable construction, the integrated implementation of which allows to reduce the negative impact on the environment, increase the energy efficiency of buildings and create a comfortable living environment for people. The purpose of this study is to assess current achievements in the field of sustainable construction and identify the most promising of them. The work uses analytical methods to study modern research and practices in the field of sustainable construction. Examples of successful projects, international standards and certification systems, such as LEED and EPBD, are considered. The international Scopus database served as the basis for the formation of samples. The results obtained show that the integration of environmentally friendly building materials significantly reduces the impact on the environment, the introduction of highly efficient insulation and passive solar design systems increases the energy efficiency of buildings, and effective waste management, including recycling and reuse of materials at various stages of the building life cycle, significantly minimizes the amount of construction waste. In addition, 3D concrete printing technology (3DCP) is promising and can ensure sustainable construction by reducing construction time and cost, the ability to create complex shapes with minimal material waste, and the creation of more sustainable and environmentally friendly built environments.
