This chapter explores politics of generative artificial intelligence in empowering education in Australia. Generative artificial intelligence has attracted continuous global attention since its advent, presenting significant opportunities and challenges for the transformation of human education. As a pioneer in technology and education, Australia has been actively exploring the empowerment of education by generative artificial intelligence. Its policy evolution has successively gone through the initial exploration period, the construction and implementation period, and the standardized development period. However, at the same time, the policy implementation of generative artificial intelligence empowering education in Australia is confronted with digital ethical dilemmas, the widening digital divide, the increasing burden on teachers, and the growing regulatory pressure. In this regard, top-level design should be strengthened, and digital ethics standards should be established. Optimize resource allocation and promote digital education equity; Update educational concepts and develop scientific assessment systems; Emphasize teacher development, enhance digital literacy, and provide references and inspirations for the global digital transformation of education.
