Optimization Study of VSG Transient Characteristics Under Grid Faults
摘要
When grid fault occurs, Virtual Synchronous Generator (VSG) has transient stability problem similar to SG while simulating the output characteristics of traditional Synchronizing Generator (SG). The traditional VSG control with fixed rotational inertia (J) and damping coefficient (D) does not have good transient characteristics in the face of disturbances. To address this problem, a fault traversal method with J and D fuzzy adaptive control during faults is proposed in the paper. Firstly, the expanded equal area method is used to analyze the stability of VSG under the symmetrical fault state. The reference voltage and active command of VSG are re-tuned, and Creating adaptive rules through power angle curves. Improved control improves transient stability as well as suppresses current inrush. Finally, the effectiveness of the control strategy is verified by Simulink simulation, and the results show that the control strategy adopted in this paper can realize the stable operation of VSG under fault condition.
