The design of nuclear power area in the field of civil nuclear power, also the rules and regulations for the classification of marine ships should be considered. The associated rules and classifications must be obeyed. The research and analysis on excitation system(safety class) of emergency diesel generator set for marine nuclear power equipment is carried out, it provides reference for the selection and design of the (safety class)excitation system.
