摘要

With the rapid growth of the data center and automotive electronics, the power consumption of equipment is increasing. In order to reduce the distribution power loss due to the power delivery network, the 48 V power bus has been used in place of the conventional 12 V bus. To achieve high power density and high efficiency, the transformer design becomes critical at megahertz frequency. In this paper, a two-stage voltage regulator circuit is designed. The main power transformer adopts magnetic integrated design, which ensures high power density while achieving high efficiency. The matrix transformer concept is applied and a merged winding structure is used for flux cancellation, which effectively improves the magnetic flux distribution. In addition, the winding cross arrangement and air gap avoidance are adopted, which greatly reduces the winding loss. Finally, an experimental prototype is made to verify the rationality and effectiveness of the designed matrix transformer.
