Conducting preventive testing on grounding devices can help avoid major power accidents. In view of the limitations of existing grounding detection methods, spectrum detection, as a new type of non-destructive testing method, has been widely studied and applied in the field of grounding detection. This paper mainly introduces the principles of spectrum detection methods, elaborates on the current status and challenges of spectrum methods in grounding detection, and provides an outlook on future developments.
