A pinning signal optimization-based distributed consensus frequency control method for the offshore windfarm is proposed in this paper. The principle of pinning consensus (PC) control is reviewed. A pinning signal optimization-based control scheme is put forward. The general form of the pinning signal function is designed according to the changing law of post-disturbance system frequency and rotor kinetic energy (KE). The wind generation control, energy storage system (ESS) and demand response (DR) are optimized coordinately taking the frequency security and economics into consideration. The proposed method is applied in the modified IEEE 3-generator and 9-bus system to verify its effectiveness.
