Progressiveness of Industrial Culture
摘要
This chapter explores the connotation, criteria, dynamic nature, and influence of progressive industrial culture, aiming to clarify its role in advancing industrial and social development. It defines progressive industrial culture as a form that conforms to industrial development laws, adapts to social progress trends, and drives industrial upgrading. Four core criteria for judgment are established: openness (embracing diversity and exchange), scientificity (reliance on evidence and objective rules), creativity (stimulating innovation), and progressiveness (guiding efficient and sustainable development). The chapter asserts that progressiveness is ultimately judged by practical outcomes: enhancing productivity, optimizing governance, improving well-being, and strengthening cultural identity. It emphasizes the dynamic nature of this progressiveness, evolving with the times (e.g., from scale expansion to green sustainability) and varying across regions. The analysis further highlights its leading role in global industrial culture dissemination and discourse power (e.g., through international standard-setting). The chapter concludes that progressive industrial culture is vital for transcending agricultural-era constraints, promoting modern industrial order, and enhancing national industrial competitiveness.
