摘要

This chapter focuses on macro-level industrial culture, defined as national-level cultural activities encompassing the industrial system, cultural resources, and national industrial image. It elaborates on the national industrial system, including its hierarchy, management, policies, and classifications. National industrial cultural resources are classified by form (tangible/intangible) and time (historical/modern/future), with emphasis on value assessment from both measurable and immeasurable dimensions. The national industrial image is explored in terms of its connotations, determining factors (product and country-of-origin), characteristics, and functions (enhancing influence and promoting trade). The chapter concludes that macro-level industrial culture shapes national industrial competitiveness through systematic design and cultural identity construction, serving as a core support for a nation’s industrial strength.
