Core Values of Industrial Culture

This chapter explores the core values of industrial culture by analyzing its functions, social roles, and value characteristics. Key functions identified include dissemination, cognitive shaping, normative guidance, cohesion, regulation, and innovation stimulation. Its social roles are framed as: a form of productivity, a coordinator of industrial society, a catalyst for industrial development, and a driver of economic growth transformation. The chapter elaborates on the traits of industrial values (structured, directional, adaptable) and the attributes of industrial cultural values (objective, holistic, universal, proactive). The analysis emphasizes that industrial culture acts as a lubricant in industrial society, regulating relationships between humans, machines, society, and nature. Its significance in enhancing industrial competitiveness and promoting sustainable development is highlighted.
