Appendix H: Overview of Many-Body Perturbation Theory
摘要
In this chapter, we compile supplementary notes regarding the method of Feynman diagrams, which appear throughout the main text beginning from Sect. 10.2.3 . Feynman diagram methods appear throughout this book on many-electron theory, as well as in various fields of condensed matter theory. However, they are introduced in different contexts: for instance, in the treatment of electron–electron interactions as in this book, or in contexts such as electron–phonon interactions and response function evaluations in linear response theory. This diversity can make it difficult for beginners to grasp the method in a unified manner. Therefore, this appendix summarizes the essential points with an emphasis on illustrating their interrelations, keeping detailed explanations to an outline or selected excerpts.
