Marine Seaweed Polysaccharide-Based Scaffolds in Tissue Regeneration
摘要
Marine seaweed polysaccharides have emerged as a potential biomaterial for tissue regeneration due to their unique properties, such as biocompatibility, biodegradability, and capability to mimic the extracellular matrix. This chapter reviews the current state of marine seaweed polysaccharide-based scaffolds in tissue regeneration, highlighting their potential applications in various tissues, including the bone, cartilage, skin, and nerve. We discuss the advantages and challenges of using marine seaweed polysaccharides as scaffold materials, as well as the future directions for research and advances in this field.
