This chapter primarily explores wavenumber-domain imaging techniques for fully electronic planar MIMO arrays. Section 5.2 introduces the classical range migration algorithm (RMA) for planar MIMO arrays, in which both matched filtering and Stolt interpolation are performed in a high-dimensional spatial frequency domain. Section 5.3 presents an enhanced version, termed the Efficient Range Migration Algorithm (ERMA). This method combines phase calibration and data completion to reconstruct fully sampled data from undersampled measurements. Numerical simulations and conclusions are shown in Sects. 5.4 and 5.5, respectively.
