This chapter summarizes the main findings of the book and outlines directions for future research. The study constructs and validates an integrated framework linking “learning motivation–behavioral intention–capacity building–career orientation,” revealing how classroom learning, competition participation, and psychological mechanisms jointly shape educational outcomes and career orientation. It addresses the theoretical gap in the “classroom–competition–employment” chain. The research also compares students and industry professionals in terms of educational needs and behavioral mechanisms, and develops a multidimensional evaluation system for BIM education outcomes, providing references for curriculum optimization and talent cultivation. Limitations mainly lie in the reliance on cross-sectional data, lack of objective behavioral evidence, and limited sample representativeness. Future research should emphasize longitudinal tracking, multi-context experiments, and cross-cultural comparisons, while exploring the integration of BIM education with emerging technologies such as AI and VR/AR, in order to strengthen education–industry alignment and advance international development.
