摘要

The transportation of long and bulky materials like bamboo presents significant challenges in rural and semi-urban regions, where motorized transport options are limited. The custom bicycle attachment developed in this study offers a practical solution for carrying extended objects, enhancing the stability and capacity of traditional bicycle designs. This attachment includes a bamboo-holding structure, a detachable rear wheel, and a sliding mechanism for load positioning. Analysis was conducted through Ansys simulations to evaluate structural integrity under varying loads, with testing performed across different terrains to assess performance at typical transport speeds. Results indicate that the attachment successfully accommodates increased loads while maintaining stability and maneuverability. Additionally, load balancing adjustments via the sliding mechanism reduce strain on cyclists, enhancing operational efficiency. Further investigation was conducted on deformation and stress distribution, showing that the design maintains structural resilience under optimal load conditions.
