摘要

The role of robotics in the present-day industry is magnum opus, especially in the field of assistive robotics and industrial applications, where one such focused research area is anthropomorphic robotic hand. The main objective of this chapter is to study the payload analysis of the anthropomorphic robotic hand. It also presents modeling and structural analysis of the said robotic hand. In regard to the model, the main focus is to create a model similar to the anatomy of the human hand and to make the model as flexible as possible. Pertaining to the structural analysis, the objective is to observe the factor of safety and maximum deformation, study their reaction to a certain load, and choose the best material in terms of strength and rigidity for the fabrication of the robotic hand, which can withstand the high loads applied on it. The chapter illustrates a flexible design for the functioning of the robotic hand, along with which it also presents the FOS and deformation comparison of the materials chosen for the payload analysis conducted in the study.
