One of the preconditions for the successful China-Russia cooperation under the framework of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) is their aligned perception of the cooperation. And how the Russian people view China’s role in the international stage is a basis of such perception. This chapter studies how the ordinary Russians perceive China’s international image, explores how they comment on China’s economic and political position in the world, and reveals through quantitative analysis the factors that go into forming such a perception.
