The main objectives of this chapter are to introduce and discuss the concept of stability, as well as to present and classify fixed points for linear systems of ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The idea will then be generalized to nonlinear systems. To consolidate the theory, some illustrative examples will be provided throughout the text.
