Vitiligo surgeries are evolving treatment modalities aimed at the repigmentation of stable vitiligo lesions. The surgeries have been classified into tissue and cellular grafts on the basis of the nature of the autologous graft transplanted. Tissue grafting techniques are more cost-effective and less labor and instrumentation-intensive. This chapter discusses various autologous tissue grafting techniques with basic principles and recent innovations to make these surgeries easier, more practical, and cost-effective for treating physicians and patients, leading to better cosmetic outcomes, satisfaction, and ease of doing the procedure for both the doctor and the patient.
