Study on Influence of Tilt Angle Variation on Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation

When designing solar panel devices, the tilt angle of the panel surface is often determined using a fixed design, and this has a significant impact on the amount of power generated by the solar panels. We design the instrument to align with the path of sunshine rays, maximizing its exposure to solar radiation. The goal of this study is to establish a correlation between the tilt angle of solar panels and both the intensity of light and electrical power generated. Furthermore, the study aims to identify the ideal tilt angle for solar panels by analyzing light intensity and electrical power values. The study observed an average power reduction of approximately 7.41% in the Roorkee region and 22.95% in the Dehradun region due to deviations from the optimal tilt angle, highlighting the significant impact of tilt optimization on solar power generation efficiency.
