摘要

A microgrid is a system that coordinates multiple loads and generation units. The interconnection of several units in a microgrid, often results in the formation of complex higher order systems (HOSs). To address this complexity, reduced order models (ROMs) are considered as viable solutions, which are acquired through order reduction techniques. The presented paper focuses on the order reduction of a higher order autonomous microgrid system. An eighth order system (EOS) is reduced to second order model (SOM) using order reduction technique. For this paper factor division method (FDM) is utilized for order reduction. The approximation is carried out and shows the practicality and effectiveness of proposed technique. To validate the productivity of the recommended method, responses in form of step, Nyquist and Bode plots are provided. The time domain parameters and error indices are tabulated and are taken into consideration for comparative analysis of original eighth order autonomous microgrid system and its obtained second order model.
