Enhancing Battery Optimization Strategies for Electric Vehicle Performance and Sustainability

摘要

This paper introduces a new method to enhance electric vehicle (EV) charging by using Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology. The suggested model optimizes EV charging and discharging patterns to minimize differences between peak and low energy demand periods on the electrical grid and reduce energy loss. The model considers factors such as EV user charging needs and limitations of EV battery lifecycles. We used a second-order conic algorithm to solve the optimization problem’s difficulties to make the power flow balance rule more flexible. Then, we changed the “non-convex” parts of the EV model to eliminate whole numbers, making the model more convex. Based on the case studies conducted, it is evident that the new method has proved to be quite effective. It could improve the grid’s stability, cut down on how much energy is wasted, and make electric vehicle systems better overall. The comprehension and use of battery optimization techniques in the context of electric vehicle integration into smart grid networks are advanced by this research.
