Voltage Support from the Charging Station with G2V and V2G Ability
摘要
Electric Vehicles (EVs) are becoming increasingly popular due to their numerous advantages. However, effective planning is essential for managing EV charging, as uncoordinated charging can result in issues like transformer overloading and increased energy losses in feeders. This work proposes implementing a Grid-to-Vehicle (G2V) scheme for innovative vehicle charging to minimise charging costs. Additionally, Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology is integrated into the distribution network to help stabilise grid voltage. The study uses an IEEE 33-bus system, with the objective function formulated to minimise vehicle charging costs through linear programming.
