Basic concepts of the charge order parameter for quantum materials were explained. In this chapter, we introduced the principles and applications of advanced electron microscopy techniques, including quantitative CBED, 4D-STEM, DPC and EELS, to perform advanced characterization on the charge order parameters of quantum materials, such as for the magneto-optic materials and the high-temperature superconductors.
