Biopharmaceuticals of Plant Origin with Health Importance and Potential Benefits for the Development of Modern Agriculture
摘要
The study of products of plant origin in all fields of modern medicine, agriculture, and plant agriculture is increasingly relevant due to the great application possibilities. For example, some substances of natural origin successfully affect a number of progressive polypathogenic neurodegenerative diseases in which the combination of various mechanisms and risk factors is found to induce anatomical, cellular, and molecular changes leading to disruption of higher cortical functions, deficits in memory, learning, behavioral and functional disorders, and total breakdown of intellect and mental activity. Bulgarian pharmacologist D. Paskov studied the alkaloid galantamine, which is most widely distributed in representatives of the family Amaryllidaceae: Caucasian snowdrop (Galanthus woronowii Losinsk), snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis L., Galanthus elwesii) Hook. Fil. Marsh snowdrop (Leucojum aestivum L.).
