This chapter, Journeying in Leadership, explores the ongoing nature of personal and professional development in leading for mission. The chapter begins by introducing the concept of the “living agenda”, emphasising that leadership formation is a dynamic, integrated process that unfolds over time. It then presents the idea of ‘your own path’, recognising that each leader’s journey is unique, shaped by their context, experiences, and vocational calling. The chapter also explores the notion of being ‘in touch’ as a way of staying connected to the source of inspiration and guidance during daily challenges. The chapter concludes by inviting leaders to embrace the journey of ongoing formation as an ‘unfinished symphony’, one that is ever responsive to the movement of the Spirit and the needs of the community and one that is nonetheless a symphony already.
