Jessner’s peel (JP) is a combination of lactic acid and salicylic acid, along with resorcinol. It can be used alone or in combination with 35% trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peel (Monheit peel) to achieve a greater depth of peeling. It usually has a shelf life of 2 years and is stored in dark amber-coloured bottles with a tight cap to prevent exposure to light and moisture.
