Tirbanibulin is a novel synthetic compound with anti-proliferative and anti-tumoral properties, which is now approved by the US FDA for the treatment of actinic keratosis. Recently, its propitious role in plantar warts, condyloma accuminata, psoriasis, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma has been exemplified. Given the short treatment schedule, tirbanibulin demonstrates high rates of compliance. Besides, it is effective with good tolerability while managing the above disorders. The only disadvantage is the high cost and unavailability in many developing countries.
