Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIG)

Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) delineates a wide variety of applications in dermatology. It is of particular importance in the management of Kawasaki’s disease, toxic epidermal necrolysis and connective tissue disorders. In developing countries like India, however, it is not widely used owing to its high cost, and unavailability in many centres.
