Thalidomide
摘要
In dermatology, thalidomide is approved by the FDA for the treatment of erythema nodosum leprosum. Besides, it is effective in other dermatoses recalcitrant to first-line therapies, like prurigo nodularis, discoid lupus erythematosus, recurrent aphthous stomatitis, sarcoidosis and epidermolysis bullosa pruriginosa. Though well tolerated by most patients, in those receiving thalidomide for long duration, nerve conduction studies become essential owing to the risk of peripheral neuropathy with it.
