Clinical Outcomes of Arthroscopic Osteocapsular Arthroplasty in Elbow Osteoarthritis
摘要
Primary elbow osteoarthritis (OA) typically originates at the posteromedial radial head (beveled rim), where it articulates with the zona conoidea of the lateral trochlear ridge of the humerus, and subsequently progresses to involve the ulnohumeral joint (Fig. 20.1) [1]. The key pathological changes include osteophyte formation, capsular contracture, and medial collateral ligament (MCL) involvement, which are the main surgical targets. In the early stages, patients typically experience impingement pain at terminal extension and flexion. As OA progresses to more advanced stages, pain may occur at rest or in the mid-arc of motion, often accompanied by further restriction of joint movement.
