Acceptance and Use of Virtual Reality in Translation of Cultural Inheritance: An Extension of TAM
摘要
Virtual reality (VR) technology offers significant potential for cultural heritage preservation and dissemination. This study investigates VR application mechanisms for Beijing’s Central Axis cultural heritage, specifically examining the presentation and interaction of its cultural elements. The current digital inheritance methods of traditional culture are confronted with problems such as insufficient depth of cultural connotation expression, complex system interaction logic, and lack of immersion in user experience, which makes it difficult to meet the public’s growing demand for cultural experience. This thesis takes the cultural inheritance application of virtual reality technology as the empirical research object. Aiming at the problems existing in the current research, an innovative design strategy for empowering the cultural inheritance of the Beijing Central Axis through virtual reality technology is proposed. The intention is to break through the limitations of time and space through the rational application of virtual reality technology, explore innovative paths for the digital inheritance of traditional culture, and empower the modern expression of culture with digital technology.
