Rapid Recovery Desktop System: A Novel Architecture for Enhanced Security and Recovery in Personal Computing

The research proposes the Rapid Recovery Desktop system, an innovative desktop architecture that enhances security and data integrity in personal computers. By integrating a file management virtual machine (FM-VM), a network services virtual machine (NS-VM), a virtual machine agreement mechanism, and a virtualization-based security platform (OSCKAR), the system isolates applications, enforces strict access controls, and minimizes privilege exposure. Performance tests indicate that our approach reduces malware risks, accelerates recovery, and minimizes data loss. This work advances personal computing security with a practical, user-centric framework for resilient systems.
