This review paper addresses the growing significance of drone forensics in the context of increasing drone usage across various sectors, including commercial, military, and recreational activities. The difficulties in extracting, preserving, and analyzing data have increased with the use of drones, exposing a serious research gap in standardized forensic techniques. The paper systematically examines the existing tools, frameworks, and procedures that highlight the need for advanced techniques such as machine learning and artificial intelligence to enhance forensic investigations. The most significant outcome of this review is the identification of emerging trends and technologies that can improve the accuracy and efficiency of drone forensic.
