The upper limb perforator flaps which may be used to reconstruct the oral and maxillofacial—head and neck defects mainly included antebrachial ulnar artery perforator flap and posterior radial collateral artery perforator flap which is also called lateral arm perforator flap. The above two kinds of perforator flaps are applied relatively infrequently due to their complex harvesting procedures, short pedicles, small vascular calibers and high requirements for anastomosis techniques. For some patients without special aesthetic requirements, many surgeons prefer to choose the radial forearm flap which is relatively easy to harvest. Therefore, although the radial forearm flap is not a traditional perforator flap, the conventional harvesting method and clinical application are also briefly introduced in this chapter.

摘要
