Microsurgical Basis of Perforator Flap
摘要
A perforator flap refers to an axial-pattern flap to which blood is only supplied by cutaneous perforator vessels (perforator arteries and veins) of small calibers, characterized by that they are pedicled with perforator vessels that have their origin in muscles or intermuscular septa. A perforator vessel is a nutrient vessel originating from the source vessel and passing through the deep fascia to supply blood to subcutaneous tissues and skin, including musculocutaneous, septocutaneous, and direct cutaneous perforators [1].
