Bending

In this chapter, we will discuss not only the bending of tubular materials such as circular tubes but also the bending of shapes and profiles. These sections can be classified into closed sections such as circular pipes and square pipes, open sections such as channel sections and H-sections, and asymmetrical sections that do not have an axis of symmetry. Generally, sections other than circular ones, such as square pipes, are classified as shapes.
