Moving Towards Autonomous Control and Perception Systems Via Vehicular Cloud Computing (VCC): A Review
摘要
The research on vehicular networking, which is crucial for standardization, effective traffic management, safety, and infotainment, has stimulated substantial investigation. Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) advance when cars are equipped with various communication systems, computing resources, storage, and enhanced sensing capabilities. Vehicular Cloud Computing (VCC) is a crucial solution that utilizes vehicle resources to address difficulties in vehicular networks and enable immediate decision-making. This paper provides a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of VCC, including a classification system that emphasizes its uses, cloud configurations, key management, inter-cloud communication, and privacy/security issues. Based on a thorough examination of existing literature, we suggest a VCC framework, which we compare to traditional Cloud Computing (CC) and investigate unresolved research topics. According to literature, VCC is a practical and economically advantageous change that drives intelligent vehicular networks towards autonomous traffic, advanced vehicle control, and sophisticated sensing systems.
