This section is dedicated to materialize the first two objectives of this study. It attempts to estimate the significant factors and measure the extent of their contribution towards building up of financial inclusion index. Additionally, it aims to measure financial inclusion across the different samples that we have considered in this study. Section 4.3 focuses to estimate the achievements in financial inclusion across the 28 states and 7 union territories of India for 2003–22 applying the Max–min. approach for normalization of the three variables and the inverse of the Euclidean distance to consolidate the different dimensions.
