As the national emphasis on cybersecurity risks for critical infrastructure such as nuclear facilities increases, cybersecurity activities have become an essential part of the lifecycle of nuclear instrumentation and control systems. The design of safety-class DCS (Distributed Control System) systems is directly related to the execution of safety functions in nuclear facilities, and cybersecurity design must be considered during their design process. After analyzing the current status and assessing the risks of safety-class DCS based on the NASPIC (Nuclear Advanced Safety Platform of Instrumentation and Control) platform, a cybersecurity protection scheme for safety-class DCS was designed based on the “one center, three layers of protection” depth defense technology framework proposed by the requirements of the equal protection 2.0, combined with the protection requirements for DCS systems in GB/T 33009. This scheme realizes the cybersecurity reinforcement protection of safety-class DCS, providing reference and Refer to the engineering design of current nuclear instrumentation and control systems.
