Data Storage, Transfer, Security and Ethical Issues in Computational Cytology
摘要
The data is the fundamental component in the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) in cytology. It provides the basic information and all the raw materials to build up the mansion of AI. So after successful data collection and preprocessing, data storage and sharing are needed. Data can be stored in a local computer or in cloud storage. To have a complete worldwide network, the data sharing is important. The data sharing can be done by direct transferring the data, cloud-based transfer, physical transfer, federated learning, and edge computing. At the time of data sharing, the security of the data component is equally important. Sharing of the stored data is always vulnerable to ethical issues. In fact, the implementation of AI in the medical field is intimately related to various ethical issues. In this chapter, the data storage, data sharing, data security and ethical issues are discussed.
