Modulation Strategies for Three-Phase Inverters
摘要
This chapter explores pulse width modulation (PWM) techniques used to drive three-phase inverters. Traditional sinusoidal PWM and advanced space vector PWM (SVPWM) are compared in terms of harmonic distortion, voltage utilization, and computational complexity. Various offset-injection strategies are discussed to improve DC bus voltage utilization. The chapter concludes with practical implementation aspects that ensure modulation schemes remain effective under real-world hardware constraints.
